2CR Outfitters is centrally located in the Town of Belen (approximately 22 miles south of Albuquerque). This provides us with the ability to hunt all four corners of this state with minimal destination travel time. Generally speaking, the southwest, northwest, and northeast quadrants of the state are mountainous pinon-juniper-pine forests. Elevations may vary from 4200 - 12000+ feet. This transitions to low level grasslands and semi-arid desert from the central area to southern and eastern quadrants. Elevations range from 9300 - 3600 feet.

Temperatures average in the high 90s and low 50s Fahrenheit during the summer, and high 60s and low 40s during the winter. Summers are rather enjoyable as the heat is kept in check by the low humidity - generally in the teens to high 20 percent. Winters are generally quite mild with the majority of winter storms occurring in the higher elevations.
